White Rioja has quietly been one of Spain’s best-kept secrets, and CVNE’s Monopole is a brilliant introduction. Made from the Viura grape, it shows a slightly richer side of Spanish white wine while still feeling fresh and easy to drink.

There’s a lovely mix of tropical fruit and white blowers on the nose, followed by a bright, clean palate with a touch of depth that keeps things interesting. Fresh, balanced and very moreish — a fantastic everyday white that works just as well on its own as it does with simple seafood or lighter dishes.
