Patrick Sullivan, 'Limestone Coast' Chardonnay, 2025

Patrick Sullivan is making some of Australia's most exciting Chardonnays, earning plenty of recognition for wines that are full of character, beautifully crafted and a real pleasure to drink. Having tasted his wines in London, I was blown away by the quality, and this Limestone Coast Chardonnay is a brilliant introduction to what he's doing.

Classically styled, with some barrel ageing bringing lovely complexity and subtle richness, but without losing any freshness or drinkability. Expect citrus, white peach and a touch of hazelnut, with a beautifully balanced, textured finish. Delicious on its own and even better alongside a good meal. For £20, this is a real find for anyone who loves Chardonnay.
