We first discovered Artelium at WineGB—one of the UK wine trade’s go-to events—and were instantly drawn in by their bold, distinctive packaging, much like fellow English producer Black Chalk (Hampshire). Thankfully, what’s inside the bottle is just as impressive.

Grapes are sourced from top vineyards across the Sussex South Downs and crafted by esteemed winemaker Dermot Sugrue, so it’s no surprise that this sparkling wine delivers such purity, precision, and finesse. Made using the same traditional method as Champagne and aged for extra depth (five years on lees), it still wears its English character proudly.

Expect bright, pure fruit, balanced richness, and a fine, elegant mousse. A friend once described it as “like a top, top white wine… but with bubbles”—and we couldn’t put it better ourselves.
