Here's a lovely Pinot Noir from Burgundy—classic red Burgundy at its best. From a great vintage, it's pretty and elegant and perfumed. You'll find subtle notes of cherry and spice, but it's the wine's freshness and purity that really make it stand out.

Vincent Girardin is a highly regarded producer in the Côte de Beaune region. This is a terrific wine that's drinking beautifully now and will continue to do so for the next couple of years. Perfect with roast chicken, mushroom dishes, or simply on its own when you're in the mood for something special.
