Larry Cherubino is one of Australia’s most inventive winemakers, and the Uovo range is a great example of that curiosity at work. The wines are fermented and aged in large egg-shaped vessels — a technique that helps create wines with purity, texture and beautiful balance.

This Cabernet–Nebbiolo blend is vibrant and expressive, showing blackberry and blackcurrant alongside a subtle savoury note of bay leaf. It’s rich in flavour but beautifully composed, with a smooth, generous texture that makes it an absolute pleasure to drink. A fascinating modern Australian red that feels both polished and distinctive.
