Here's something a little different — a red from Limniona, a lesser-known native Greek grape that's well worth getting to know. It comes from Theopetra Estate near the spectacular cliffs of Meteora, who have a real knack for elegant, beautifully made wines. This isn't a big, punchy red — it's soft, supple and very drinkable, but with enough intriguing complexity to keep things interesting.

Expect bright cherry and raspberry with a touch of sweet quince and dried fig, lifted by gentle spice — nutmeg, clove and black pepper. Silky tannins and a long, smooth finish make it effortlessly easy to enjoy.
